During my visit to Amsterdam, one place that truly stood out was the Van Gogh Museum, a museum that takes you beyond the paintings and allows you to discover the life, emotions, and artistic journey of one of the world’s most celebrated painters.

I am from the beautiful Caribbean island of Sint Maarten, I’ve been living in the Netherlands for over nine years. Moving from island life to a much bigger country has shaped the way I travel and view the world today.

For me, travel goes beyond relaxation and beautiful scenery.
